Assessment / interview

Applicants will be invited into assessment centre to be held in Manchester. The first date is planned for early January 2018.

Applicants will be required to participate in a multi-panel interview process, including role players. There will be an emphasis on patient safety.

Following the interview, applicants will be given the option to discuss their preferences re location, and any other general concerns/queries with an administrator.

Further information on what to expect on the day will be provided upon invitation to the assessment centre.

Applicants will be offered their highest available location preference depending on availability.


How do I apply for specialty training?

The WAST programme will give applicants good experience for future specialty training applications.

  • Stage 2 – Specialty Recruitment Assessment - Computer Test, Clinical Problem Solving and Situational Judgement/Professional Dilemmas
  • Stage 3 – Assessment Centre, clinical scenarios including role players.
